    Tracgrip is a privately owned Engineering & Hydraulics Company founded in 1951 and located in the Manawatu city of Palmerston North. 

    During the early years the “Tracgrip” name was synonymous with light earthmoving machinery when the company manufactured backhoes and loaders to fit Ford and Massey Ferguson tractors. During the following years the hydraulics service side of the company was formed.

    Today the company is a strong leader in its field of engineering and hydraulics with 3600 square metres of workshop space, dedicated areasfor hydraulic service, fabrication, machining and engineering assembly allow the company to carry out large engineering contracts.
